Our Annual Performance is an exhilarating show of talent and passion, offering an unforgettable experience
for both our dancers and the audience.
We carefully select a theme that inspires our choreographers to bring their creativity to life. We often draw inspiration from popular music that evokes specific emotions or narratives. For example, our "Divas & Superstars" 2019 theme featured artists such as Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, and Adele. Another memorable theme, "Dancing in the UK" in 2022, included artists like Queen, the Spice Girls, and Ed Sheeran.
the performance is the culmination of months of dedication, hard work, and artistic growth, providing a thrilling opportunity to shine on stage and share their love for dance. The energy of the performance, the camaraderie with fellow dancers, and the applause from the audience create lasting memories and a profound sense of accomplishment. Your child will have the full performing experience, which includes a dance costume for each class they are enrolled in, with full stage lighting in a professional, state-of-the-art theater.
our performance is a vibrant spectacle of movement, music, and emotion. Each year, we strive to create a captivating show that transports viewers into the world of dance, evoking joy, inspiration, and wonder. From the intricate choreography to the stunning costumes and lighting, every element is designed to provide a truly immersive and exciting experience that celebrates the art of dance.
located within the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, Queens. We typically have 2-3 performances over a weekend, with each show running approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.
We send out information on our costumes, performance agreement, and important dates related to our show in mid-October.
Attendance is of utmost importance during this time. We hold an In-Studio Dress Rehearsal at Astoria Dance Center during the last two weeks of dance classes, and a Theatre Dress Rehearsal at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts so your child can get acclimated to the stage and feel confident before their show!
From our youngest performers in our Pre-Dance I (ages 3-4) class to our most advanced performers,
it’s an experience they can’t miss!
We also host an Annual Holiday Performance featuring original and classical choreography set to holiday favorites, excerpts from The Nutcracker Ballet, and ADC students who take piano and singing lessons. It's filled with festive cheer, wonder, and the spirit of the season. Our holiday performance takes place in December at a venue in Queens, New York.
